Gilwell Oak Wood Badge Beads Update

Our Gilwell Oak Wood Beads are extremely special, made from the oak of a tree located in the home of Scouting, Gilwell Park. Due to this exclusive material, unfortunately this item has become limited and future long term availability will depend on the natural availability of the wood.

Scouts is committed to sustainability, as part of this approach, and to adhere to the Tree Protection Order, we will no longer be creating new Wood Badge Beads made of Gilwell Oak unless the wood becomes available naturally, through storm damage of other safety measures.
