When placing an order for award items, your order will go onto hold for verification of the awards ordered, this is cross referenced with your Compass record. You may be required to send a copy of the relevant certification or provide the appropriate member number of the award recipient, in order for Customer Services to verify and release your order.
We insist on checking and ensuring only eligible candidates receive awards to keep these honours as prestigious as they should be. Please note that other suppliers should not be selling award badges without verification, as this only undermines the award and takes away from the deserving candidates that have worked hard to achieve them.
Please also note that we will not supply high level awards, such as Length of Service or QSA/KSA, in large quantities to hold as stock.
If we request further information from you, please do not feel that we are undermining your role in Scouting, these checks are simply done to uphold the standards of these prestigious awards.
Please send all relevant certification to customer.services@scouts.org.uk, along with your order number, to speed the verification process along.
