What we do

Scout Store is owned by the Scouts and is the dedicated and official retailer for all Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Network uniform. We complement this with a full range of casual clothing, such as i.SCOUT, Heritage and Fleur de Lis, and a range of associated gifts and outdoor equipment.

Together in Scouting

We work with the Scouts to develop and produce all the badges for the movement and have the most up to date provision and ranges available. We are dedicated to investing in Scouting and to the future of the movement and therefore all our proceeds are returned to UK Scouting, so that the outstanding work can continue both locally and nationally.

We’ve been here a while

The first Scout uniform shop was opened in 1917, and last year we celebrated our centenary, although we remain young at heart. Scouting has remained true to its values but has adapted its uniform to the changing times.

In early 2018 we changed our name from Scout Shops to Scout Store to echo the breadth of Scouting today.

How we do it

All our uniform is robust, practical and made for activity! We use quality suppliers to ensure that our clothing exceeds the expectations of our customers, and we are continually developing new casual lines to meet the needs of today’s Scouts. We always welcome feedback from our customers to make further improvements where necessary.

Ways of purchasing have changed greatly over the years, but in today’s busy marketplace our new website will ensure that our customers can choose and order efficiently and quickly with improved delivery and online customer support.

How to find us

We are based in Lancing, just outside of Brighton. We have offices and an on site distribution centre. As well as a friendly and helpful Scout Store team!
