As you know, we always try to keep our prices as reasonable as possible, and just recently, we were able to lower the price of all activity trousers and Sea Scout jerseys after negotiating lower costs with suppliers.
We have frozen badge prices for several years and subsidised the rising costs of production in China to avoid passing these on to our customers. However, hampered by the weakening exchange rate of sterling, the cost pressures have increased to a point where we need to make a small increase in the price of badges.
I understand that price rises will never be popular and I can assure you we have not taken this decision lightly. From 2nd January 2020, badge prices will increase by an average of 5p. We have kept this increase as low as we possibly can.
We’re committed to supporting District shops and this year we took the decision to no longer supply John Lewis, so customers could come back and shop with you. We’re going to continue to find ways to support you and your District.

Are you providing a spreadsheet with the badge SKU and new prices so new badges prices can be setup for Jan 2nd.
